Tejaswini’s father revealed to an Indian news outlet on Wednesday that his daughter had travelled to London three years prior and finished her MS programme there.
She visited Hyderabad in August of last year and left for London in the following month. He stated that she was scheduled to arrive here in May of this year.
“We were planning to conduct her marriage. She said she will return after the alliance is finalised. She had resigned from her temporary job and said she will come back after working for another month,” he said.
The victim’s uncle asked the government to set up the necessary transport for her body from Hyderabad to the UK.
The attack that resulted in the death of an Indian national has not yet been addressed by the Indian High Commission in London.
