In August, NASA and SpaceX intend to fly the 7th crew mission to the International Space Station.
The Crew-7th mission is scheduled to launch on August 15 from Launch Complex 39A at NASA’s Kennedy Space Centre in Florida, the agency announced on Wednesday.
NASA announced that a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket will launch Crew-7 aboard the Endurance Dragon spacecraft, which previously flew NASA’s SpaceX Crew-3 and Crew-5 missions.
As mission specialists, the launch will include NASA astronaut and mission commander Jasmin Moghbeli, European Space Agency astronaut and pilot Andreas Mogensen, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency astronaut Satoshi Furukawa, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Konstantin Borisov.
Borisov will be making his maiden spaceflight after joining the Roscosmos Cosmonaut Corps as a test cosmonaut candidate in 2018.
