Visually Impaired Muslim Poet Invited To Ram Temple Consecration Ceremony

Since he was a child he has been singing and writing poems and bhajans to praise Lord Ram.

Akbar Taj, a Muslim poet and bhajan singer from Madhya Pradesh who is visually impaired has been invited to the consecration ceremony of Ram temple on January 22. The poet expressed satisfaction and happiness on being invited at the ceremony.

Poet to travel Ayodhya on January 14

Taj (42), a resident of Khandwa district’s Hafla Beepla village, told PTI that he will travel to Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, on January 14 to perform his poetry on Lord Ram. “I visit the entire country but I am feeling very happy on being invited to Ayodhya and that too on behalf of Ram ji Bhadracharya (Hindu spiritual leader). I am leaving many other programs and going there,” he said. Since he was a child he has been singing and writing poems and bhajans to praise Lord Ram. Taj is very poor and lives in a Kutcha house.

VVIP guests to attend the ceremony

The consecration ceremony preparations are underway with full zeal and the event will be starting on January 16. As per the reports, a 51-inch idol of Lord Ram will be consecrated on January 22. Several VIP and VVIP guests including PM Modi, Gautam Adani, Virat Kohli, Mukesh Ambani, Ratan Tata, Arun Govil, and Deepika Chilika will participate in the event.
