A dog breeding centre in Kottayam was raided by Kerala Police and 17 kilograms of marijuana was recovered. According to Police, actually center named ‘Delta K9’, was a “front” to sell marijuana.
However, the breeder, Robin George, absconded from the centre but before he let loose a pack of violent dogs. No policeman was hurt and they succeded in bringing the dogs under control after hustling for some time. As per the police, dogs were trained to attack anyone in Khaki-coloured clothes.
Robin rented the house and people knew him as a dog trainer. Kottayam Superintendent of Police (SP) said, “People, when going out of the station, used to leave their dogs with him (Robin). He used to charge Rs 1,000 per day and would look after the canines.”
The search for the accused is underway.
