A doctor has stated that Suchana Seth, the chief executive officer of an artificial intelligence start-up, is suspected of strangling her four-year-old kid with a towel or pillow at a service apartment in Goa. Seth was taken into custody on Monday night in Chitradurga, Karnataka, and taken to Goa on Tuesday.
When did the incident happen?
The accused killed the child, put it in a bag and drove it in a taxi to nearby Karnataka. The incident happened between January 6 and January 8.
CEO tried slitting her wrist
According to the report, CEO of a Bengaluru-based company after killing her 4 year old son in an apartment in Goa attempted suicide by sliting her left wrist. Following a preliminary investigation, authorities stated that Suchana Seth, the CEO of Mindful AI Lab, changed and departed for Bengaluru, packing her son’s body into a suitcase and took a tourist taxi.
Accused committed crime to prevent father from meeting their son
Seth was taken into custody on Monday in Chitradurga, Karnataka, when apartment maintenance discovered blood stains in her room and notified the local police. Seth’s taxi driver was asked to change the route to the closest police station by the cops where the CEO was ultimately taken into custody. When her suitcase was checked, the child’s body was discovered. A senior police officer told PTI, “The blood stains that were found on a towel in the service flat were due to the slashing of her wrist.” According to reports, she committed the crime to prevent her husband visitation rights so he could not meet their son. The divorce process between the couple is on going.
