On Tuesday, Bollywood star Akshay Kumar made a prayer offering at the revered Kedarnath temple in the Rudraprayag region of Uttarakhand.
The 55-year-old actor is now in the state filming for his upcoming feature.
According to CEO of the Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee Yogendra Singh, Kumar came by helicopter and proceeded to the Himalayan temple to perform a “puja” while walking barefoot from the helipad.
The actor entered the temple being trailed by a bunch of followers while wearing a black T-shirt and track pants.
After leaving the temple, Kumar congratulated the crowd and remarked that it had been an incredible experience.
In addition, the actor posted a picture of the temple to Instagram along with the message “Jai Baba Bholenath (sic).”
