Former MP CM Kamal Nath To Hold Bageshwar Dham’s Grand Event Keeping In Mind Next State Elections

The event is likely to draw many leaders from the Congress. Over one lakh people can attend the religious event.

The head priest of Bageshwar Dham, Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, will perform a major ceremony in Kamal Nath’s Chhindwara seat on election day. Nath is the president of the Madhya Pradesh Congress and a former chief minister of the state.

The event is scheduled for August from 5 to 7. The celebration will occur next to the Simariya Hanuman temple, which houses a 108-foot-tall idol of the Hindu deity.

Anand Bakshi, the leader of the Maruti Nandan Seva Samiti in Chhindwara, and Kamal Nath are keeping an eye on the event’s preparations.

The event is likely to draw many leaders from the Congress. Over one lakh people can attend the event preparation for such accomodations has been done, which will have weatherproof roof-like structures to protect against the rain.

On February 13 of this year, Kamal Nath travelled to Bageshwar Dham in the Madhya Pradesh village of Garha to pray and see Dhirendra Shastri.

At the time, BJP leaders had taken exception to Kamal Nath’s visit and claimed that the Congress was acting unfairly because some of its leaders opposed Shastri. The BJP cannot monopolise Hinduism, the Congress had responded.

The head priest of Bageshwar Dham in the Madhya Pradesh hamlet of Garha in the Chhatarpur district is Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, often known as Baba Bageshwar. Many of his devotees think he creates scrolls that disclose the past and aspirations of the people.
