Jio Launches Bharat 4G Phone At 999: Supports UPI Payment, Sales Starts On July 7

The purpose of this mobile phone’s release is to reach Jio’s “2G-MUKT BHARAT” goal.

Reliance Jio launched Jio Bharat 4G phone priced at Rs 999. The purpose of this mobile phone’s release is to reach company’s “2G-MUKT BHARAT” goal. One of the two Jio Bharat phone is in collaboration with Karbonn. Other companies will soon use the “Jio Bharat platform” to create “Jio Bharat phones,” according to Reliance Jio. To put it simply, we can anticipate more businesses collaborating with Jio to introduce more cheap models.

1 million phones to be sold

Starting on July 7, 2023, the first batch of Jio Bharat phones, which totals about 1 million units, will be sold. The corporation declared that the phone would be sold in retail establishments all around the nation. The recently released Jio Bharat phone resembles any other feature phone in appearance but is 4G smart phone.

Jio Bharat supports UPI payments

The recently released Jio Bharat phone has a keypad and Bharat logo directly below the screen. On the back panel, there are speakers and a camera. Users of the Jio Bharat phone may also take images, use JioPay to make UPI payments, and make unlimited calls throughout India. Along with the abundance of entertainment options, Jio Cinema, JioSaavan, and FM Radio are all supported.

Phones available in 2 colours

Two models have been released, one of the models’ back covers features the “Jio” brand logo, while the second model’s back cover features the “Karbonn” brand logo. Phone is available in blue and red colour.

New Jio Bharat Plans introduced

New Jio Bharat plans have also been introduced, with prices of Rs 123 and Rs 1234. The less expensive plan includes unlimited voice calls for 28 days and 14GB of total bandwidth (0.5GB each day) whereas 1234 annual package gives 168GB of total data (0.5 GB per day) and unlimited calling features are included. These plans are currently available to phones with Jio branding.
