Chandrayaan-3 is made up of an indigenous Lander Module (LM), a Propulsion Module (PM), and a Rover.

As per the reports, the Chandrayaan-3 mission to the moon will launch on July 13. The probe is ready for launch, according to ISRO chief S Somnath.

Chandrayaan-3 will launch on July 13, at 2:30 pm, from Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota, according to officials. The Geosynchronous Launch Vehicle Mark-III, India’s heaviest rocket to moon, will carry out the Chandrayaan-3 mission.

Chandrayaan-3 is made up of an indigenous Lander Module (LM), a Propulsion Module (PM), and a Rover. Chandrayaan-2 mission was launched in 2019 which crashed on the moon surface. Somnath claimed that the best time for launch is between July 12 and July 19 as then Moon will use less fuel to cover the distance and be more efficient due to the orbital dynamics.

The Chandrayaan-3 mission will explore Moon’s far side and make an effort to land successfully. The main goal is to make soft landing on moon and make India the fourth country in the world to be able to do it.
