Today in the second phase of Lok Sabha Elections, voting is taking place for 88 Lok Sabha seats in 13 states. Rahul Gandhi is contesting from Wayanad seat of Kerala. In today’s voting, the reputation of Congress leader Shashi Tharoor, Union Minister Rajiv Chandrashekhar and Arun Govil, who came into politics from acting, is at stake. Amidst the voting, on Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed an election rally in Malda, West Bengal. PM Modi was given a grand welcome at the beginning of meeting in Malda North. Amazing enthusiasm was seen among the people who came to listen to PM Modi. Whereas PM Modi greeted the people with folded hands.
Addressing public meeting in Malda, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “Since morning, people have been celebrating democracy with enthusiasm and enthusiasm. I heartily congratulate those who have come out to vote. There is a different enthusiasm for this festival of democracy in Bengal.”
PM targeted TMC
Speaking in Malda, West Bengal, Prime Minister Modi said, “I am confident that parties like TMC, Congress, which were getting defeated in the first phase, will now collapse in the second phase.” PM Modi further said, “There was a time when Bengal led the development of the entire country, but first the Left and then TMC hurt this greatness of Bengal during their rule. Under the rule of TMC, only one thing is going on in Bengal – scams worth thousands of crores, Saradha cheat fund scam, animal smuggling scam, ration scam, coal scam etc. TMC does scams and the people of Bengal have to suffer. There is no work here which is done without commission.”
TMC and Congress pretend to fight among themselves
Prime Minister Modi said, “TMC and Congress definitely pretend to fight among themselves here, but their conduct and behavior are exactly the same. The one thing that connects these two is appeasement. TMC and Congress leaders are saying that if they come to power, they will cancel CAA. CAA is a law to give citizenship, not to take away it. TMC is continuously spreading lies.”
