Today, a vehicle accident in Pakistan’s Punjab province killed 16 people and injured 15 more.
According to the report, many women and children were killed when a passenger bus carrying approximately forty individuals collided with a pick-up truck carrying diesel drums and burst into flames on the Faisalabad Motorway near Pindi Bhattian.
As per District Police Officer (DPO) Fahad, the bus was on its way to Islamabad from Karachi when it collided with the pick-up truck near the Pindi-Bhattian Interchange around 4 am.
The medical superintendent reported that the injured were taken to Pindi Bhattian and Faisalabad Hospital.
The death toll is expected to grow because four of the injured are in serious condition.
DPO Fahad, on the other hand, stated that 16 remains had been found on the bus and would be identified by DNA testing.
Every day, several people are killed in road accidents across Pakistan.
