Confused About How To Change KYC Data On The EPFO? Click Here To Learn

Due to the numerous internet scams and system failures, KYC has become a very important process. Users are required to complete their KYC on all online platforms. One such platform is EPF, which has recommended all of its members complete their KYC online. Also, on the EPFO site, there have been certain benefits that are only accessible to those who’ve gotten their KYC approved.

To update your KYC information on the EPFO (Employee Provident Fund Organization) portal, follow these simple steps:

Access the EPFO Member Portal here: Visit the EPFO Member Portal’s official website. Type “https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/” into the address bar of your computer browser to access it.

Register an account: On the homepage, select “For Employees” from the “Our Services” menu. Choose the “Member UAN/Online Service (OCS/OTCP)” option on the following page. Enter the captcha code, password, and UAN (Universal Account Number). Choose “Sign in” from the menu.

Visit the KYC section: You will be taken to the member dashboard after logging in. Search for and select the “KYC” option from the main menu. Add KYC Information You will find various categories on the KYC page, including “Personal Information,” “Bank,” “Identity,” “Address,” and “Others.” After selecting the section you want to change, click the “Add” button.

Fill the blanks: There will be a form where you fill out your KYC information. Provide the necessary information needed. Depending on the section you are editing, you will need to submit specific information. For instance, you must provide your bank account number, IFSC code, and bank name if you are updating your bank information.

Upload Documents: In some cases, you could be asked to upload proof of your KYC information. For instance, you could be required to upload a scanned copy of your passport, PAN card, or Aadhar card if you are updating your identity evidence. Verify that the papers’ size, format, and other specifications are met.

Save the Details: To preserve your revised KYC details, click the “Save” or “Submit” button after providing the relevant information and submitting any applicable documents.

Examine and Confirm: Before submitting, check your information. Ensure that all the data is correct and up to date. If everything appears to be in order, press the “Confirm” button.

Approval and Verification: Once you have submitted your updated KYC details, they will be sent for verification. The EPFO authorities will review and validate the information provided. This process may take some time.

Check Status: Go to the KYC section of the member portal to see the status of your KYC update. You will notice the new information reflected in your account as soon as your KYC details are approved.
