Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde expressed concern over the increasing number of hit-and-run incidents in the state.

Expressing deep concern over the surge in hit-and-run cases, Shinde emphasized the misuse of power and influence to manipulate justice.

Maharashtra Chief Minister and Shiv Sena head Eknath Shinde commented on the incident, emphasizing that the law applies equally to everyone and that no one will be spared.

According to the draft bill, the community qualifies for reservation due to its social and educational backwardness. 

After long talks between the two sides, that resulted in the announcement by the Eknath Shinde-led administration that Maratha people will be eligible for reservation in jobs and education admissions.

The chief minister will also take part in a 'shobha yatra' in the evening, which will cover a distance of almost five kilometers from Shivaji Park in Dadar to Bhoiwada Ram Mandir in Lower Parel, Mumbai.
