Firing in Jaipur-Mumbai Central Express train
Firing in train: An official reported that an RPF constable shot and killed four people, including an assistant sub-inspector, on board a Jaipur-Mumbai Central Express train that was travelling through Maharashtra on Monday. The RPF ASI and three other railway passengers were killed shortly after 5 a.m. by gunfire from the constable’s automatic pistol, according to the official—about 100 kilometers distance Palghar from Mumbai.
The officer claimed that Chetan Kumar Choudhary started shooting at ASI Tika Ram Meena, who was in charge of his escort duty, as the train was moving. The report added that after killing his superior, the cop walked to another bogie and killed three passengers. With the assistance of Government Railway Police and RPF authorities, the constable was apprehended by police at Mira Road.
