Lord Ram stayed in Panchavati for several years

Panchavati holds a distinctive place among the locations connected to the Ramayana since it was the site of several significant events. In the Panchavati region, in the Dandakaranya jungle, lived Lord Ram, Ma Sita, and Lakshman Ji for several years. The phrase “land of five banyan trees” refers to Panchavati. According to mythology, Lord Ram built his home here since this area was fortunate to have five banyan trees.

PM  Modi visits Nashik 10 days before ‘Pran-Pratishtha’ ceremony

Just 10 days before the spectacular ‘Pran-Pratishtha’ ceremony of the Bhavya Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, PM Modi is visiting this place as it holds enormous relevance in Lord Ram’s life. After visiting Shree Ram Kala temple, PM Modi will inaugurate the national youth festival.

Rs 1.87 crore for temple’s renovation

According to sources, there is no holiday in schools and colleges in Nashik during PM’s visit, however, to manage law and order traffic diversions will be done on some routes. For the renovation of temple and shelter areas Rs 1.87 crore have been approved by the centre.
