Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the redeveloped Ayodhya railway station, as reported by PTI. He will also inaugurate an airport and lay the foundation stones for a slew of development projects for Uttar Pradesh. On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Ayodhya and was given a warm welcome by UP CM Yogi Adityanath and Governor Anandiben Patel.
After his arrival, Modi conducted a roadshow where he greeted and waved back at people who had gathered along the way his way from the airport to the railway station.
During his roadshow, the prime minister witnessed cultural troupes performing, and at one point he opened the door of his car to wave at them.

In a post on X, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who received Modi, said, “Hearty welcome and greetings to respected Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji in Shri Ayodhya Dham…”
In addition to the inaugurations, Modi will dedicate railway projects to the country and flag off new trains named Amrit Bharat and Vande Bharat.
Modi is scheduled to take part in public event where he will officially launch and lay the foundation stone for development projects Rs 15,700 crore in Uttar Pradesh.
These include projects worth about Rs 11,100 crore for the development of ayodhya and its surrounding areas, and projects worth about Rs 4,600 crore related to other works across Uttar Pradesh, according to PTI.
