‘May All Resolve Be Fulfilled’: CM Yogi Extends Maha Navami Greetings; Seeks Maa Siddhidatri’s Blessings

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath extended greetings on Maha Navami on Monday, October 19, invoking Maa Siddhidatri’s blessings for happiness, prosperity, wisdom and the fulfilment of people’s aspirations. He also wished citizens a happy Vijayadashami.

In a post on X, Yogi offered prayers to Maa Siddhidatri, the ninth manifestation of Goddess Durga, seeking peace, prosperity and collective well-being.

“May everyone’s resolutions be fulfilled, may happiness, prosperity and wisdom reside in every life, and may the path towards the welfare of all be paved,” he wrote, concluding with ‘Jai Mata Di’.

Addressing the people of Uttar Pradesh, the Chief Minister said Goddess Durga’s valour and Lord Shri Ram’s righteous conduct inspire people to oppose injustice, uphold women’s dignity and fulfil their responsibilities.

Drawing parallels with his government’s policies, Yogi said his administration prioritised the rule of law and citizens’ safety.

He highlighted efforts to rehabilitate poor families on land reclaimed from mafia control. Referring to Prayagraj’s Kasari-Masari area, he said the government would construct homes for the poor on reclaimed land and develop the area as ‘Shri Krishnapuri’.

The Chief Minister urged people to use Vijayadashami as an opportunity to resolve to eliminate social evils, including arrogance, injustice, discrimination and negativity, alongside the symbolic burning of Ravana.

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta also greeted citizens on Maha Navami, describing the worship of Maa Siddhidatri as an inspiration for devotion, knowledge and righteousness. She prayed for happiness, prosperity, good health, social harmony, national unity and greater commitment to service.

Maha Navami marks the ninth day of Shardiya Navratri and honours Maa Siddhidatri, whom devotees worship for wisdom, spiritual fulfilment, prosperity and siddhis, or divine accomplishments.
