Avoid Politics That Destabilises The Nation, Respect For The Constitution Is Paramount: Indresh Kumar

At a workers’ conference of the Muslim Rashtriya Manch (MRM) in Lucknow, serious questions were raised about the politics of Rahul Gandhi, the Opposition and the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP).

The conference stressed that any attempt to weaken India’s unity, integrity and constitutional framework cannot be accepted.

Dr Indresh Kumar, guide of the Muslim Rashtriya Manch, said that the Opposition and CJP were taking political opposition in a direction that could create an atmosphere of instability and distrust in the country. He questioned whether political ambition to gain power could ever take precedence over the country’s stability and national interests.

The conference emphasised that democratic processes and constitutional propriety must be respected instead of spreading distrust towards the electoral system and constitutional institutions.

Taking aim at the politics of Rahul Gandhi and the Opposition, Indresh Kumar said that India needs responsible leadership, social harmony and nation-building, not confrontation and chaos.

Referring to the situation in Bangladesh and Pakistan, Indresh Kumar cautioned that violence, extremism, political confrontation and social divisions could damage the peace and stability of any country. He said the nation must remain vigilant against ideologies that threaten India’s unity and integrity. Workers were urged to strengthen patriotism, mutual trust and brotherhood in society and spread awareness against all forms of hatred and extremism.

The conference, held under the chairmanship of Dr Indresh Kumar, National Executive Member of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and guide of the Muslim Rashtriya Manch, emphasised that India’s true strength lies in its diversity, unity and respect for all religions.

The conference called upon workers to reach out to communities and promote love, brotherhood, patriotism and social responsibility.

Preparations for the 2027 Elections: Target of 12 Grand Conferences

The Muslim Rashtriya Manch will organise 10 awareness programmes in different parts of Uttar Pradesh in the coming days. These programmes will focus on nationalism, social harmony, national unity, education, mutual brotherhood and social responsibility.

Two of these programmes will focus specifically on Sufism. They will emphasise spreading the Sufi tradition’s message of love, humanity, peace and mutual harmony among people.

The Manch aims to bring together different sections of society and strengthen the spirit of peace, brotherhood and national unity across the state.

Workers’ Conference: Emphasis on Good Conduct and Strong Character

Dr Indresh Kumar said that a worker should be recognised by good conduct, gentle speech, honest intentions and strong character. Rather than spreading a spirit of revenge in society, workers should focus on bringing people together and winning their hearts.

Workers should set an example through their own behaviour so that people can understand the work and ideas of the Muslim Rashtriya Manch more closely. He said that no social campaign can achieve widespread success without strengthening individual character.

Family Relationships: Reconciliation and Love, Not Divorce

Expressing concern over growing tensions within families and increasing cases of divorce, Dr Indresh Kumar said that the foundation of a family rests on love, trust, respect and responsibility. Disputes between husbands and wives have a profound impact on children.

Emphasising women’s dignity and the need to prevent families from breaking apart, Dr Indresh Kumar said, “If you must divorce something, divorce the bottle of intoxicants; if you want to love someone, love your wife at home.”

Dr Indresh Kumar reiterated the Muslim Rashtriya Manch’s message, “Not divorce, but reconciliation; not divorce, but love.” He stressed the need to resolve family disputes through dialogue and promote reconciliation centres.

Referring to the Hajj ritual of throwing pebbles at the devil, Dr Indresh Kumar said that people must overcome the evils within themselves, such as anger, ego, violence and extremism.

According to him, mutual understanding, restraint and love must take priority to preserve relationships.

International Situation: Choose Dialogue and Peace, Not War

Speaking about the international situation, Dr Indresh Kumar appealed for dialogue and peace instead of war. Referring to the United States, Iran and Israel, he emphasised the need for communication and diplomatic engagement.

Dr Indresh Kumar said that people should prioritise human life and peace instead of celebrating deaths. He added that the world needs trust and love, not fear and coercion. His message to the world from Lucknow was, “Love, love and only love.”

Dr Shahid Akhtar: Nationalism, Education and Social Unity Will Strengthen India

Dr Shahid Akhtar said that the Muslim Rashtriya Manch is committed to the vision of ‘One India, Great India’. India’s true strength lies in unity in diversity and a shared national identity. He said that an MRM worker should be recognised by good character, exemplary conduct and patriotism.

Describing education as the foundation of social progress, Dr Shahid Akhtar urged every family to prioritise children’s education, guided by the spirit of the slogan, “We may eat half a meal, but we will educate our children.”

Dr Shahid Akhtar said that dialogue and mutual understanding are the way to overcome extremism and hatred. He stated that the Muslim Rashtriya Manch had worked towards finding solutions through dialogue on major issues such as the Ram Temple, triple talaq, Article 370 and Waqf.

Dr Shahid Akhtar stressed that dialogue is equally important in addressing other social and national issues to strengthen peace, mutual trust and unity in the country. He urged workers to improve their personal conduct and strengthen peace, brotherhood, Hindu-Muslim unity and national harmony in society.

Mohammad Afzal: Humanity Is the Greatest Identity

Mohammad Afzal, National Convenor of the Muslim Rashtriya Manch, said that the purpose of the conference was to prepare responsible workers who would help unite society. He clarified that the Manch is not a political party and does not have an election symbol. Its objective is to strengthen humanity, social unity and brotherhood.

Referring to the Quranic expression ‘Rabb-ul-Alameen’ (Lord of all the worlds) and the Indian philosophical ideal ‘Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah’ (May all be happy), he said that both convey the message of universal welfare and the well-being of all.

Mohammad Afzal urged workers to promote unity rather than division and protect the dignity of every individual.

Dr Shalini Ali: Women’s Participation Is Essential for Nation-Building

Dr Shalini Ali said that the Muslim Rashtriya Manch works to strengthen national unity, social harmony and brotherhood.

Referring to Lucknow’s Ganga-Jamuni tehzeeb, the city’s tradition of shared cultural harmony, she said that women are a powerful force for bringing positive change to society and that their participation is essential for nation-building.

Dr Shalini Ali said that MRM workers should reach out to households and spread the message of mutual respect, unity and brotherhood. Women’s participation, she added, can bring positive changes to both families and society.

Syed Raza Hussain Rizvi: Education Will Open the Path to Progress

Syed Raza Hussain Rizvi said Dr Indresh Kumar’s ideas inspired him to join the Manch. He emphasised religious freedom and respect for all religions.

Referring to Surah Al-Kafirun in the Quran, Syed Raza Hussain Rizvi spoke about the importance of following one’s own faith while respecting the religious rights of others.

Mentioning the first revelation of the Quran, ‘Iqra’, meaning ‘Read’, he said that education is the foundation of progress. Society must prioritise education and knowledge to move forward. He urged workers to spread awareness about the importance of education in every household.

Girish Juyal: We May Eat Half a Meal, but We Will Educate Our Children

Senior MRM office-bearer Girish Juyal said that the Muslim Rashtriya Manch has been working for the past 25 years to promote education, social harmony, brotherhood and patriotism. He said that every individual should be a good follower of their religion while fulfilling their responsibilities as a good Indian in public life.
