Burglars Disconnect CCTVs, Drill Hole in Locker, Loot Jewellery Worth Rs 25 Crore in Delhi

The police is currently looking over the CCTV footage till the time the thieves disconnected the cameras until that point. As of yet, no one has been taken into custody.

A shocking heist came to light, from a shop in Delhi’s Jangpura jewellery worth Rs 20 to 25 crore was looted between Sunday evening to Tuesday morning as per reports.

According to police, the heist was completely planned as the thieves first disconnected the CCTV camera and then made a hole in the locker before entering the jewellery shop.

According to authorities, the burglars entered the four-story building through the terrace and made their way to the ground floor, where the safe was located.

They then drilled a hole in the wall to gain access to the vault containing the priceless ornaments. Along with these, they also stole the jewellery that was on display in the showroom.

The showroom’s owner discovered the theft when he reopened on Tuesday morning after locking up the shop on Sunday night. The store remains closed on Monday.
