BJP launched its campaign for the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha Elections in Tamil Nadu almost a year ahead. On Sunday, Amit Shah, Union Home Minister requested people to vote for NDA in more than 25 out of 39 seats in the state and asserted people to again form a government under the leadership of Narendra Modi at centre.
Rally was held in Vellore district
While addressing a rally in Pallikonda in Vellore district as a part of BJP’s massive outreach campaign for next Lok Sabha Elections said, “I have come to appeal to all of you to elect BJP and its allies in more than 25 seats in Tamil Nadu.”

Remembering the new event in the parliament buliding Shah said, “Narendra Modi re-installed the Sengol which is emblematic of the Chola empire.” Further the Union Minister added that as a mark of gratitude 25 MP form NDA should be elected in Tamil Nadu.

Mentioning Modi Government’s initiatives in promoting Tamil language Shah Said, “Modi ji makes it a point to mention the greatness of Tamil literature, Tamil saints and scholars and culture with immense pride in whichever country he visits.”
Shah took a dig at CM Stalin
Shah said, “CM Stalin asked me on a public platform what has the Modi government done for Tamil Nadu in the last nine years. I have come here to answer his query. I also dare him to reply to me tomorrow.” Shah added that when Stalin’s DMK was a part of the UPA government, Tamil Nadu got Rs 95,000 crore from the Centre in 10 years. In contrast, PM Modi gave Rs 2,47,000 crore to Tamil Nadu in nine years.
Talking about DMK and Congress, Amit Shah said, “The Maran family is 2G, which has spent two generations in corrupt politics; the Karunanidhi family is 3G, which has been in corrupt politics for 3 generations and the Gandhi family is into the same for 4 generations. It is now time to throw 2G, 3G and 4G out and hand over the rule of Tamil Nadu to the son of the soil of the state.”
