2,400 kg ‘Ashtadhatu’ Bell, Largest In Nation Made For Ayodhya Ram Temple

The bell is made of 8 metals and is among the biggest in the nation.

A gigantic 2,400 kg bell constructed of “ashtadhatu” (eight metals) that was manufactured for Rs 25 lakh in Jalesar town in Etah district is scheduled to be delivered to the Ram temple in Ayodhya. The bell was displayed on a car in the district’s subdivisions before being transported by train to Ayodhya on Tuesday.

Made of eight metals (gold, silver, copper, zinc, lead, tin, iron, and mercury), the bell is among the biggest in the nation and is produced by a diversified team of about thirty people. Aditya Mittal, a metal businessman said that his late brother Vikas Mittal had of desire of donating the bell to Ram temple.

Consecration ceremony to livestream at Times Square

The consecration ceremony of Ram temple in Ayodhya will be celebrated on January 22. According to the reports it will be livestreamed at Times Sqaure in New York City. The Ram Lalla’s ‘Pran-Pratishtha’ ceremony, will also be broadcasted live at Indian embassies apart from all the states of the country.

VVIP guests to attend the event

Nearly 60, 000 people will be attending the event. As per the sources, VIP and VVIP including Virat Kohli, Sonia Gandhi, Amitabh Bachchan, Arun Govil Deepika Chikhalia Topiwalawill, PM Modi, LK Advani attend the event on January 22. From January 16, Vedic rites performed for Ram Lalla’s Pran-Pratishtha ceremony will begin in Ayodhya before the main event on January 22. The main ceremonies will be conducted by Lakshmi Kant Dixit, a priest from Varanasi. The Amrit Mahotsav will be celebrated in Ayodhya from January 14 to January 22.
