2 Main Accused Of Rameshwaram Cafe Bomb Blast Case Brought To Bengaluru

The two accused in the bomb case were given a 3-day transit remand by a Kolkata court on Friday, allowing the NIA to transport them to the capital of Karnataka.

NIA brought two main accused in the Rameshwaram Cafe bomb case to Bengaluru from Kolkata while they were on transit remand, according to police officials.

Following a standard medical examination, both will be brought before National Investigation Agency (NIA) court.

The two accused in the bomb case were given a 3-day transit remand by a Kolkata court on Friday, allowing the NIA to transport them to the capital of Karnataka.

Adbul Matheen Ahmed Taahaa and Mussavir Hussain Shazib both were arrested form Kolkata by NIA for their suspected involvement in the explosion at the Rameshwaram Cafe that injured ten persons.

The Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in the cafe was set up by Shazib, according to NIA, and Taahaa was the mastermind.

The NIA declared last month that anyone supplying information that results in the apprehension of these two suspects would receive a reward of Rs 10 lakh each.

On March 1, an IED explosion shook the cafe on ITPL Road in Brookefield, Bengaluru. On March 3, the NIA took over the investigation.
