On the reality show India’s Got Talent, veteran actor Kirron Kher recalled working with the late director Yash Chopra on the romantic drama film Veer Zaara, which starred Shah Rukh Khan. The actor is one of the judges along with Shilpa Shetty and Badshah on the show. After watching Farhan Sabir and the orchestra perform the qawwali Aaya Tere Dar Par from the film Veer Zaara, Kirron went down to memory lane. It was absolutely stunning, she remarked. I was extremely moved by this qawwali from my movie Veer Zaara, said Ms Kher.

The actor also said, “It brought back memories of Yash Chopra ji, and this particular film holds a special place in my heart as it is one of my personal favourites among all of his filmography.” Shah Rukh Khan and Preity Zinta play the lead in the Yash Chopra-directed romantic drama film Veer-Zaara. Along with Rani Mukerji, Amitabh Bachchan, Hema Malini, Divya Dutta, Manoj Bajpayee, Boman Irani, Anupam Kher, and Kirron Kher in it.
Veer Pratap Singh, an Indian Air Force officer, is portrayed by Shah Rukh, and Zaara Hayaat Khan, on the other hand, Preity Zinta played the role of a Pakistani politician’s daughter. Their emotional love story is the Centre of the film. The movie received positive reviews for its plot, cast, and soundtrack. The film was released in 2004.
