Tribute To Mothers
A garden in every village or town, dedicated to mothers, planted by communities.
What Is The Scheme?
17 September 2025, marking the Prime Minister’s 75th birthday celebrations.
When Was It Launched?
Officially inaugurated in Dhar, Madhya Pradesh, with participation from women’s groups and locals.
Where Did It Begin?
Women’s Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and local communities will plant and maintain saplings.
Who Will Run It?
Villagers can register interest through local panchayats, SHGs, or state rural development offices to set up a garden.
How To Apply?
Each locality sets aside land, plants saplings, and dedicates it to ‘maa’, ensuring care and upkeep.
How Will It Work?
Selected women must have a minimum of 0.5 acres or a maximum of one acre of land.
Land Mandatory
Krishi Sakhis will provide information on fertiliser, water, pest control, organic fertiliser, organic pesticide preparation & intercropping. One Krishi Sakhi will be deployed for every 25 acres.

Creates green spaces, improves air quality, supports livelihoods for SHGs, and instills community pride.
Benefits For People
Five districts of the state, Singrauli, Dewas, Khandwa, Niwari and Tikamgarh are leading in the selection of beneficiaries for the project.
