Bhojpuri actress Kajal Raghwani has opened up about a painful chapter of her personal life on the reality show ‘Rise and Fall 2’.
During a recent episode, Kajal spoke to Anish Bhagat about an abusive relationship and alleged that her former partner repeatedly assaulted her.
She became emotional while recalling the difficult phase and explained why she chose to keep his identity private.
Kajal said she has never revealed the person’s name and does not intend to do so in the future.
She also spoke about being judged by people who, according to her, do not know the truth about what she experienced.
The actress said she does not feel the need to explain her personal life to everyone.
While talking about the relationship, Kajal alleged that her former partner would push her to the ground, kick her and physically assault her.
She also recalled incidents in which he allegedly grabbed and pulled her hair forcefully.
Kajal said the hair-pulling left a lasting impact on her. She recalled touching her hair after one incident and finding several strands in her hands.
She narrated the incident; she broke down in tears. Anish Bhagat comforted her and hoped that she would meet someone who would treat her with love and respect.
Kajal said her past experiences made it hard for her to trust people again.
This is not the first time Kajal has spoken about painful experiences. During Bhojpuri Bawaal, she also recalled her difficult childhood and alleged that her father physically abused her mother.
She remembered seeing her mother suffer and said those experiences deeply affected her.
Kajal also said she entered the Bhojpuri industry because of difficult circumstances at home. She alleged that she faced physical abuse and threats involving her family.
Despite the pain, she said she chose to stay silent, focus on her career, and move forward.
