Haryana Government Grants Ram Rahim Parole For The Second Time This Year

After receiving approval for release from DM Bagpat in his report dated July 18, Ram Rahim has now been granted parole.

Dera Sacha Sauda (DSS) chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, who is a convicted rapist and murderer, has been given a 30-day parole by the Haryana government.He has been granted a parole release twice already this year. He was given parole by the Haryana government earlier in January.

The Rohtak division commissioner made it clear when he granted parole to the controversial preacher, who is currently being held in Sunaria jail in Rohtak, that he must remain present at Shah Satnam Ji Ashram Dera Sacha Sauda Barnava, district Bagpat in Uttar Pradesh, and must not leave the district without the district magistrate (DM) Bagpat’s prior approval.

After receiving approval for release from DM Bagpat in his report dated July 18, he has now been granted parole.

Dera Chief is also required to provide, to the satisfaction of the district magistrate, a personal bond and two sureties in the amount of Rs 3 lakh each for the faithful compliance of the release warrant’s conditions.

The head of the police station has also been ordered to keep a close eye on Dera Chief’s behaviour and actions while he is on parole and submit report regarding it to the superintendent jail via the deputy commissioner of police or SP.
