Grade II teacher recruitment paper was cancelled after being leaked in December of last year. 37 candidates were among the 55 persons detained as a result of the paper leak.

Following information of thousands of dollars’ worth of illegal money had been kept in the private lockers at Ganpati Plaza in Jaipur, an Income Tax Department team arrived to investigate the site on Friday.

The IT department is currently breaking into people’s personal lockers at the plaza, and they have already taken about Rs 7.5 lakhs in cash that wasn’t supposed to be there. The second locker contained a sack full of cash, which is currently being counted.

A few more lockers will soon be opened by the income tax team.

BJP leader Kirori Lal Meena claimed last month that these lockers at Jaipur’s Ganpati Plaza held black money obtained through paper leaks.

On October 17, the team took approximately Rs 30 lakh out of three lockers. The income tax department took nearly Rs 2.46 crore out of the lockers on October 21.

Over 12 kg of gold and more than Rs 7 crore in cash have been taken out of the lockers thus far. Ganpati Plaza has about 1,100 lockers.
