Ukraine's First Deputy Foreign Minister To Visit India On Sunday
Emine Dzhaparova, the first deputy foreign minister of the war-torn nation, will begin her four-day visit to India on Monday. This will be the first official visit from Ukraine since the Russian offensive began in February of last year. Officials said the two countries will discuss bilateral relations, exchange views on the situation in Ukraine, and global issues of shared interest.
Meenakshi Lekhi, a minister of state for external relations and culture, and Vikram Misri, the deputy national security adviser, will also be in attendance for Ms. Dzhaparova’s meeting.
“India shares warm and friendly relations and multifaceted cooperation with Ukraine. Over the last 30 years of establishing diplomatic relations, bilateral cooperation between the two countries has made significant progress in the areas of trade, education, culture, and defence. The visit will be an occasion to further mutual understanding and interests,” an official statement said.
