India At 80 Spot in Henley Passport Index’s, 57 Countries Indians Can Travel Visa Free

The most well-liked interactive online passport display, sort, and ranking tool is now called Passport Index.

India’s passport now occupies the 80th spot in the Henley Passport Index’s latest ranking published, 5 spots up from the position of it was in 2022.Indians can now travel to 57 locations with having a visa.

Countries like Togo and Senegal hold the same position of India in the latest ranking.

Indonesia, Thailand, Rwanda, Jamaica, and Sri Lanka like countries can be visited with by Indian passport holder without visa and visa on arrival access but still 177 countries including China, Japan, Russia, the United States, and the European Union need visa to enter these destinations.

However Japan that has the most powerful passport in the world, its position is now taken over by Singapore allowing entry without visa in 192 global destinations.

After five years at the top, Japan plummeted to third place since fewer countries are now accessible without a visa fell. The United States, which formerly topped the list over ten years ago, dropped two spots to eighth position. Following a Brexit-related decline, the UK fell two spots to fourth. Afghanistan is at the bottom of the list and has simple access to 27 places.
