‘If I Don’t Get Elected, There Will Be Bloodbath In US’: Former US President Donald Trump

Trump made these statements after reiterating that electoral fraud was the cause of his loss to Democratic Presidential Candidate Joe Biden in 2020.

Former US President Donald Trump has stated that if he is not elected president in November, American democracy will probably end. He said that if he lost, it would be a “bloodbath” for the entire nation.

Trump made these statements after reiterating that electoral fraud was the cause of his loss to Democratic Presidential Candidate Joe Biden in 2020.

Trump said, “If we don’t win this election, I don’t think you’re going to have another election in this country.”

Trump also said, “If I don’t get elected, it’s going to be a bloodbath for the whole country” in the middle of the speech.

Later, in an effort to provide explanation, his team linked to a post made by a New York Times journalist on the social networking platform X, stating that Trump’s remark about a “bloodbath” occurred during a conversation about the US car sector and the economy, according to news agency Reuters.

The former US President honored his followers who are incarcerated for rioting at the US Capitol on January 6, 2021, in an attempt to prevent Biden’s 2020 election victory from being certified, during his opening remarks.

With a salute, Trump referred to them as “hostages” and “patriots”.

This week, Trump picked up enough delegates to mathematically secure the Republican nomination. He is currently facing a criminal prosecution in Georgia for his attempts to rig the results of the 2020 election there.

A rematch with Biden in the general election is probably going to be very close.
