The Palestinian Red Crescent stated that five persons were killed and two others were injured in a strike on a building in the West Bank’s Balata refugee camp on Friday.
Earlier, the Palestinian Red Crescent claimed its physicians were dealing with five significant injuries from the blast, all of them were men aged 19 to 25.
The West Bank, which Israel occupied in the 1967 Middle East war, has experienced a major increase in violence following last month’s fatal attack on southern Israel by Hamas gunmen from Gaza.
According to United Nations estimates, Israeli forces have killed at least 186 Palestinians in the West Bank since the October 7 Hamas onslaught.
As per the report, eight more have been slain by Israeli settlers, while four Israelis were killed in Palestinian attacks.
