WhatsApp Pink: A Scam Or Standard Version Of WhatsApp? Read To Find Truth!

WhatsApp is a standard app for all phones. In more than 180 countries throughout the world, there are billions of users of the instant messaging service. WhatsApp is easy to use and offers free text, phone, and video messaging. Additionally, you may use this application to exchange documents, photographs, and locations, as well as to make audio and video chats.

 What if we told you that this identical app could make you a victim of fraud? That’s only true if you fall for the trick of downloading.

What is Whatsapp pink?

WhatsApp Pink is a false software that poses as an improved version of your standard WhatsApp.

A fraud called WhatsApp Pink targets people who use WhatsApp. The program with the pink icon makes the claim that it offers a faster, better messenger. But it’s nothing more than a con.

 Users receive a message with a link to an APK download as soon as they install the WhatsApp Pink app on their phones. The downloaded file is a virus that, as soon as it is on your phone, has full access to it.

This increases the possibility of data misuse.

You are informed by the program that WhatsApp Pink is a new update to your standard WhatsApp. You are immediately sent to a website that appears to be WhatsApp’s legitimate website after downloading it, but it is actually a fraudulent one run by con artists.

How Can You Stay Safe?

 The program will then prompt you for your phone number and a few other pieces of information. Scammers will be able to access your WhatsApp account after providing the details.

The first person to discover this fraud was internet security expert Rajshekhar Rajaharia, who tweeted, “Beware of @WhatsApp Pink!! APK download links used in #WhatsApp groups to distribute a virus.

Don’t click any WhatsApp Pink-branded links. You won’t have full access to your phone. Share with Everyone.

When you download an app from the Play Store, avoid clicking any strange or unverified URLs.New updates to apps like WhatsApp are formally released. Keep an eye on them rather than trusting scam apps.

Only install programs on your phone from legitimate app shops, such as the Google Play Store.

Although this app has no known security issues for iPhone users, it is still a good idea to be cautious and only download programs from the official Apple App Store.

Make sure you further notify your relatives and friends about the WhatsApp Pink app to keep them safe. Many WhatsApp users have been sharing messages warning about it.
