Travel 20Km Distance On Ghaziabad Route In Just 13 Minutes, Here Is How!

Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, will travel to Ghaziabad to inspect the Sahibabad RAPIDX station.

Travelling from Ghaziabad will become easier as Sahibabad to Duhai could soon be reached in just 12 minutes, a 20 km distance that currently takes more than 35 minutes to travel by road, thanks to Rapid Rail project. Next week, the RAPIDX line, India’s first Rapid Rail line, is set to be operational.

Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, Guldhar, Duhai, and Duhai Depot are the five stations that make up this section, which spans a distance of 17 km. Ten trains will run along the route, with each rapid rail able to carry up to 1,700 passengers. The project consists of 12 km of underground track (Delhi: 4.08 km; UP: 8.08 km) and 70 km of elevated track (9.22 km in Delhi; 60.57 km in Uttar Pradesh).

Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, will travel to Ghaziabad to inspect the Sahibabad RAPIDX station, where NCRTC representatives will give a overview of RAPIDX’s operations.

Recently, the station was visited by local officials, senior NCRTC officials, and General VK Singh (retired), the Member of Parliament for Ghaziabad and Minister of State for Road Transport & Highways. The RRTS priority section will be the first railway system in the nation to run the entirety of its length at a top speed of 160 kmph, promising commuters quick, secure and comfortable regional transit services.
