Zodiac Matches That Make The Best Couples
Using fake- e-challans and replicated government websites, scammers are preying on citizens with an alarming increase in the number of cybercrimes.
As the threat from the internet becomes more serious, law enforcement bodies are taking proactive measures to educate the public on how to protect themselves from cyber predators.
It has never been more important to distinguish between a real; e-challan and a fake one. A legitimate e-challan is fully detailed in terms of ownership, and vehicle information. A bogus e-challan, on the other hand, often only has a payment link and a random challan number.
Verify an e-challan by visiting the official website: Click on the link (https://echallan.parivahan.gov.in/) to verify the challan. This source makes it simple to download an authentic challan. It is unquestionably fake if it couldn’t be accessed from there. The absence of any challan information on the official website is a blatant sign of a scam.
Examine the Domain: Verify the link’s domain before clicking it from the shady e-challan. It is unquestionably a sham if it doesn’t end with gov.in. Genuine challans always include complete owner and vehicle details, a picture of the car, and specifics on the violations.
Don’t Click on Dubious Links: Use extra caution and avoid clicking on any fake links because they could expose your private banking and credit card information.
DSP Traffic Police, Panchkula, Surender Singh, issued a strict warning: “Avoid clicking on the link provided at the end of e-challan SMS. Call the police helpline to verify the challan. We do not share any links in messages.”
The scammers send messages with challan numbers and payment links which look legitimate and often with exact vehicle registration number on correct phone numbers.
