Magical Pond in Jharkhand, clap and see water rising

There are many mystical aspects of the universe that astound us, and no scientific theory can explain them. There’s only one word to describe these marvels of nature: unbelievable!

Dalahi Kund is one such component, the mystery around it remains unsolved. Every year on Makar Sankranti, thousands of people flock to the pond near Bokaro, Jharkhand, believing its water to be sacred and capable of fulfilling their wishes.

They come here to take a purifying bath. The water in this pond is said to have healing properties for skin ailments by the locals, but what is even more amazing is that it rises on claps. The water will rise and appear to be boiling as you clap. But in the following moments, it calms down.

This pond’s capacity to adjust to the changing of the seasons is another exceptional feature. Not only is water revered, but it also functions according to the seasons all year long. It stays somewhat warm in the winter and cool in the summer.

Geological experts have conducted research on this enigmatic pond, but they have not reached any conclusions. According to some researchers, the water in the reservoir responds to sound waves created by clapping because of the low water level. Put more simply, the sound of clapping creates vibrations, which in turn raise the water level. However, that intense frequency is insufficient to change the movement of water with just three claps.
