DMRC: Metro To Soon Connect Haryana With Ghaziabad, Read Details

The first metro route connecting Harayana with Ghaziabad is Rithala-Narela corridor which will be expanded to Kundli in Haryana.

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has planned to connect Haryana with Ghaziabad by expanding metro connectivity, this will felicitate Delhi-NCR people to travel easily in Delhi, Haryana and NCR region.

The first metro route connecting Harayana with Ghaziabad is Rithala-Narela corridor which will be expanded to Kundli in Haryana. Apart from this Shaheed Sthal-Rithala corridor expansion is also set to take place. As per DMRC, expansion of yellow line is the fourth extension of the Delhi Metro in Haryana after extension on violet line and green line.

Pink Line connects Botanical Garden with Haryana, a new project to expand Shaheed Sthal-Rithala Red Line corridor with Pink line is also in line which will link Haryana and UP.

Initially, stations will be designed to handle the traffic of a four-coach train and will later upgraded to a eight-coach train. The 27.319 km corridor with 22 stations comprises 26.339 km of elevated track and approximately 0.89 km at grade level and 21 stations and one at grade.

Rithala, Rohini Sectors 25, 26, 31, 32, 36, Barwala, Rohini Sectors 35, 34, Bawana Industrial Area 1 Sector 3, 4, Bawana Industrial Area 1 Sector 1, 2, Bawana JJ Colony, Sanoth, New Sanoth, Depot Station, Bhorgarh Village, Anaj Mandi Narela, Narela DDA Sports Complex, Narela Sectors 5, Kundli, and Nathupur are proposed stations on this route.
