Zhang Zilong is the son of Zhang Yudong, the owner of Mala Prince, a Hunan spicy gluten latiao brand that produces 600 million yuan (around Rs 6,92,66,54,358) worth of goods annually, according to South China Morning Post.

Zhang Zilong said to Jiupai News that he had put in a lot of effort to succeed because, for the first 20 years of his life, his father had did not tell him about his true financial situation.

He knew his father’s well-known brand, but he was also informed that his family had incurred debt in order to maintain the business.

Mr. Zilong claimed he was accepted into a reputable institution without the help of his family and grew up in a “ordinary flat” in Pingjiang County. He intended to find a reliable employment paying roughly 6,000 yuan (US$800) per month after graduating from university so he could gradually assist his family in paying off their debt. But when he graduated, his father told his son the truth that the family was actually quite wealthy.

They even relocated to a brand-new, 1.4 million US dollar (10 million yuan) mansion. Zilong aspires to assist his father in expanding into other markets. He has recently started working in the e-commerce division of the business.

In the meantime, his father stated that he would only think about giving him the position if his performance was up to the mark.

After the heart warming story went viral on social media, one of the users said, “I believe the story. The brand only started advertising itself in recent years. It must be because the prince graduated and there was no need to hide any more.”

Another user wrote, ‘What a fairy tale. The ordinary frog turns into the Mala prince.”
