75 International Undergraduate Merit Scholarships will be available from the University of Sheffield in the United Kingdom in 2024. According to the official release, these 75 scholarships are competitive awards worth 10,000 pounds (roughly ₹ 10,33,000) annually (assuming a 60% average is maintained) to help with tuition for undergraduate degree programmes starting in the autumn of 2024. Those new international students who fulfil the eligibility requirements can apply for these scholarships.
Important Dates
Application registration will start in late autumn 2023. The application deadline is April 22, 2024, at 1:00 PM (UK time). The date of the scholarship recipients’ announcement is set for May 15, 2024. Upon confirmation of their offer recipients will have to confirm acceptance of the scholarship within a specific deadline.
Eligibility Criteria
Before applying for the scholarship, candidates must have received an offer to study at the University of Sheffield. The University of Sheffield should schedule the applicant’s programme to start in the autumn of 2024. All undergraduate programmes are acceptable, with the exception of A200 and A100/A101 for medicine and dentistry, respectively. Applicants must be self-funded and responsible for paying their own tuition fees when studying abroad. No applicant may have a third-party sponsor. Candidates must be starting their first or second year of a degree programme at the University of Sheffield.
