Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath has laid the foundation stone of State Disaster Management Authority building. Today he addressed the people on the occasion and mentioned that Uttar Pradesh, of its large geographical area has many challenges. Uttar Pradesh CM said, ” Due to the rivers coming form the Himalayas, there is a constant risk of flooding from July to October. Lightning strikes are common in Vindhya and Bundelkhand. Western Uttar Pradesh is located in an area that is particularly vulnerable to earthquakes. The Terai Region, adjacent to Nepal, is known for Human-wildlife conflicts.”

After the occasion, Sarojini Nagar MLA Rajeshwar Singh tweeted, “UP is a state with more than 20 rivers, around 27 hectares of land is drown during flood as the Western UP comes under Seismic Zone-4. Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath is continously striving to strengthen the Disaster Management System, which is a very important initiative to maintain the safety and security of the state.” Today, Rajeshwar Singh addressed the public after foundation stone of State Disaster Management Authority was laid.
