Sharad Pawar On Ajit Pawar Rebellion: “This Is Not ‘Googly’, It Is A Robbery”

NCP Supremo told that common people are his main strength and in next two to three days with Congress and Uddhav Thackeray he will access the current situation.

Sharad Pawar said, “This is not ‘googly’, it is a robbery. It is not a small thing, on his nephew joined NDA government, after Ajit Pawar took oath as Maharashtra’s Deputy Chief Minister at a press conference.

NCP Supremo said that after some of his party members joined BJP all the charges against them have been cleared. Some of his party members were about to call a meeting on July 6 to discuss some issues after which the some changes were to be made within the party, but before this could happen a few leaders took an entirely different stand.

He further added that such incidences are not new for him. According to report he stated, “This is not a new thing. The party I was leading in 1980 had 58 MLAs, later all left and only 6 MLAs left, but I strengthened the numbers and those who left me lost in their constituencies.”

Sharad Pawar further stated that common people are his main strength and in next two to three days with Congress and Uddhav Thackeray he will access the current situation, mentioning that it is the speaker’s right to decide the leader of opposition.

Reacting to Sharad Pawar statement, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said, “This is not a new govt, Shiv Sena and BJP govt were functioning under PM Modi’s leadership. Development work was going on and Ajit Pawar who believed in the development work, supported and joined the govt. I welcome him and his MLAs wholeheartedly. He has a lot of MPs and MLAs which will definitely help in the development of Maharashtra. This double-engine govt now will run at the speed of a bullet train. MVA is broken. Some people were talking about googly and clean bowled, but everyone saw today who was clean bowled, it’s a hit wicket.”
