Ram Mandir’s ‘Pran Pratistha’ Ceremony Starts Today

The Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra (Ram Mandir trust) is expecting over 7,000 guests to attend the event.

The grand Ram Mandir’s ‘Pran Pratistha’ (consecration) ceremony starts form today and will last till January 21 in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be the main guest at the historic Ram Mandir inauguration on January 22.

Over 7,000 guests to attend the event

The Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra (Ram Mandir trust) is expecting over 7,000 guests, including politicians, businesspeople, saints, and celebrities, to attend the grand opening of the temple. Preparations have been underway for this momentous occasion. Additionally, the consecration ceremony will be attended by close to one hundred representatives from various nations.

Ram Mandir’s golden doors installed

‘Garbhgriha of Bhagwan Shri Ramlala Sarkar’ has all of its golden doors installed, the temple trust announced on X on Monday. Notably, the Ram Lalla sculpture made by Mysuru-based sculptor Arun Yogiraj has been selected for installation at the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.

Details of Prana Pratishtha

According to X, the Shri Janmabhoomi temple trust, the grand ‘Pran Pratistha’ (consecration ceremony) will take place on Sunday, January 21, after seven days of rituals. Today is the day for the first pre-Pran Pratistha ritual, known as “Prayaschita and Karmakuti Poojan.”

Expressing his joy, Mysuru-based sculptor Arun Yogiraj told ANI that his family is very happy with the news. His wife Vijatataruni said, “We are very happy and blessed to receive such an honour. Thank you for making this day special for us… It is going to be a festive vibe for us.”
