Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot said on Monday that he wants to leave the post of Chief Minister but this post is not leaving me. He futher added, “I want to share it with media persons that whatever I speak, I do that after thinking. I utter every word after pondering over it. Don’t think that I am joking but this post is not leaving me.”

He said, “I am making such a big statement, I should also have the courage to accept the decision of the high command.” Its notable that Ashok Gehlot has talked about resigning from CM’s post for the second time in the last four days. Before this, Gehlot had said the same in a dialogue three days ago.

Establishment of 19 new districts

Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot inaugurated 19 new districts in Rajasthan on Monday. The functioning of these new districts and three divisions was formally started. With this, now there are 50 districts and 10 divisions in the state. Before the upcoming assembly elections in Rajasthan, this decision is being considered as a Chief Minister Gehlot’s masterstroke.

Chief Minister Gehlot has created these new districts at those places, where people have been demanding it for a long time. The district has been formed in Gehlot’s special independent Babulal Nagar’s Dudu and Ramkesh Meena’s Gangapur City assembly constituencies.
