Nitish Kumar Not Prime Ministerial Candidate: Janta Dal United Chief

Lalan Singh said that total 18 opposition parties will meet to discuss the strategy to challenge BJP in upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha Elections.

Amid Bihar’s chief Minister ongoing effort to bring the oppositon together to challenge the NDA government at Centre for the upcoming Lok Sabah Elections, Janta Dal United Chief Rajiv Rajan(Lalan) said on Sunday that Nitish Kumar is not a candidate for Prime Minister making party’s stand absolutely clear.

Next Election country will be BJP-free

Janta Dal United (JDU) chief said, “Nitish Kumar is not a prime ministerial candidate. He is spearheading to build the BJP-free country. He is committed to strengthening Opposition unity.”

Next PM form Opposition will restablish Democracy

He even asked party workers not to raise slogans endorsing Nitish Kumar as the prime ministerial candidate and said, “Such slogans hurt the Opposition. After the election, when the country becomes BJP-free, all parties would meet to discuss who would lead the country.” JD(U) Chief further added that whosoever becomes the prime Minister will surely reestablish the democracy in the nation.

Total 18 opposition parties to attend meeting

Lalan Singh said that in total 18 opposition parties will come together to discuss the strategy to challenge BJP in upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha Elections. According to JD(U) Chief, Jammu and Kashmir’s National Conference chief Farooq Abdullah and Jammu and Kashmir People’s Democratic Party chief Mehbooba Mufti will also be opposition meeting on June 23.
