Mumbai Records Eight New COVID-19 Cases, With Zero Deaths

The financial centre had four incidents on Monday but no fatalities.

Mumbai recorded eight additional COVID 19 cases on Tuesday, bringing the total number of cases to 11,63,885, although no additional deaths associated with the virus were reported in the city, according to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).

19 773 deaths were reported, according to a BMC bulletin.

The bulletin states that 1,125 coronavirus tests were performed in the city during the day, bringing the total number of tests to 1,88,85,895.

Nine more people recovered from the respiratory ailment in the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 11,44,061, leaving 51 active cases in the city, it added.

The advisory stated that the coronavirus recovery rate in Mumbai was 98.3% and that the rate of infection growth from June 6 to June 12 was 0.0005%.
