Mumbai Jeweler’s Wife Plotted His Murder, Performed Black Magic, FIR Registered

As per the jeweller he started preparing his own food. On some days, he had to go without food as his wife won’t allow him to cook and during the Covid pandemic since he was unable to order it from outside.

Mumbai: An FIR for attempted murder and practicing black magic was filed on August 5 against a jeweler’s wife, her mother, and a tantrik under Criminal Procedure Code Section 156 (3) at the request of the metropolitan magistrate court, according to a senior inspector from the RAK Marg police.

The jeweler and his wife had three kids after getting married in 1989, the couple has been fighting with each other over a few years.

He said that his sister-in-law told him about the plan made to kill him in 2018. Additionally, she handed him audio recordings of the plot being discussed by his wife, mother-in-law, and an unidentified male.

As per the jeweller he started preparing his own food. On some days, he had to go without food as his wife won’t allow him to cook and during the Covid pandemic since he was unable to order it from outside.

In 2020, he allegedly started developing diseases all over his body after moving into a leased apartment in Dadar. He claimed to have received care at a suburban private hospital as well.

“I have been falling sick very often. I recovered after antibiotics but the infection reemerged when I stopped taking these. The doctors said the white blood cells in my blood had increased. I visited three to four other doctors and every doctor said that I had got an infection,” the FIR said.

Meanwhile, on December 8, 2022, he received a call from bank representatives informing him that his wife defaulted on the rent for the joint locker and requested them to vacate it. He allegedly discovered that the jewelry he had saved for his daughter’s wedding was missing from the locker when he went to the bank.
