Man Shot And Stabbed By Friends In Delhi’s Shastri Park During Daylight, None Arrested

The incident happened on Friday night at about 7:30 p.m. close to Buland Masjid in Shastri Park.

Police said on Saturday that a 25-year-old man was brutally injured when four of his friends reportedly shot and stabbed him near northeast Delhi’s Shastri Park.

According to police officials, the incident happened on Friday night at about 7:30 p.m. close to Buland Masjid in Shastri Park.

A video of the event circulated on social media. According to the authorities, the offender was seen stabbing the victim in broad daylight.

After suffering injuries to his legs during the incident, Sameer Ahmad was rushed to a neighboring hospital. From there, he was referred to GTB Hospital and then to RML Hospital, according to the statement.

Ahmad told the authorities that after being attacked with a knife by Bilal, Saud, Firoj, and Salim, Bilal opened fire on him.

According to the police, it was discovered during the inquiry that Ahmad had been drinking with his buddies and had reportedly bit Bilal, following which they attacked him.

The police investigation is underway. After committing the crime all the 4 accused absconded and none of them have been arrested yet.
