Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh’s cabinet will expand on December 25. He further stated that the new cabinet’s oath-taking ceremony is scheduled for 3:30 pm.
He told the media, “Under the leadership of PM Modi, BJP President JP Nadda, and Home Minister Amit Shah, we will take the oath for the development of Madhya Pradesh as a part of the ‘double-engine’ government.”
Following a meeting at JP Nadda’s Delhi house, he made these announcements. Twenty-eight ministers are likely to take oath as part of the cabinet expansion including Kailash Vijayvargiya, Prahlad Patel, Rakesh Singh, Uday Pratap Singh, Reeti Pathak, Bhupendra Singh, Govind Rajput, Pradyumn Singh Tomar, Tulsi Silavat, Pradeep Laria, Adal Singh Kansana, Chetan Kashyap, Archana Chitnis, Nagar Singh Chauhan, Nirmala Bhuria, Om Prakash Dhurve, Narayan Kushwaha, Kunwar Singh Tekam, Vishnu Khatri Krishna Gaur and Rameshwar Sharma, sources said.
However, he did not give exact information such as how many people were inducted into the council of ministers.
At Raj Bhawan, preparations for the oath-taking ceremony is ongoing. In Madhya Pradesh, the BJP secured a commanding majority with 163 seats, while the Congress managed to secure 66 seats.
On December 13, Mohan Yadav took the oath of office as chief minister along with Deputy Chief Ministers Jagdish Devda and Rajendra Shukla.
