Lalu Prasad Yadav
The properties of Janata Dal (RJD) Supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav were seized by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Monday due to the land-for-job scam.
These include the Delhi and Patna homes of the Yadav family, as well as a residence in New Friends Colony.
In addition to Lalu Prasad Yadav and Rabri Devi, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Monday named the deputy chief minister of Bihar and the leader of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), Tejashwi Yadav in its new chargesheet in relation to the Land for Job Scams.
This is the second charge sheet in the case, which also lists 14 additional people.
Tejashwi and Rabri were allegedly the beneficiaries of the alleged crime, according to the charge sheet submitted before Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court.
The CBI has named AK Infosystems and a number of intermediaries in the case along with members of the Yadav family, they claimed. In a special CBI court, the charge sheet was submitted.
There are allegations that from 2004 to 2009, when Lalu Prasad served as a minister in the UPA administration, Patna replacements were assigned to different zonal railways with locations in Mumbai, Jabalpur, Kolkata, Jaipur, and Hazipur.
