“He has no knowledge of sex education”: Prashant Kishor slams Tejashwi Yadav for defending Bihar CM

Defending Bihar CM, Yadav said, “There was nothing objectionable. These things are taught to children in schools as part of sex education.”

On Wednesday, Prashant Kishor, a former poll strategist, criticised Tejashwi Yadav, the deputy chief minister of Bihar, for supporting Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s divisive comments regarding population control.

Speaking at an event, Kishor stated, “Because he never attended school, Tejashwi is unaware of sex education. People are aware that he failed Class 9 altogether.”

“As far as people know, he hasn’t even passed ninth grade. So, it should be revealed which school he went to and where he received sex education from. Tejashwi Yadav’s comments on Nitish Kumar’s remarks demonstrate his lack of knowledge,” Kishor said.

“If you haven’t been to school yourself, you wouldn’t understand. It’s like saying we haven’t been to space, so we don’t know what is happening there. If Tejashwi Yadav himself hadn’t been to school, how would he know how sex education is taught?” he stated.

“Sex education in schools is not taught in such vulgar and explicit language as the Chief Minister spoke in the assembly,” Kishor added.

“Tejashwi Yadav should go door-to-door and start sex education for the people. Then we’ll see how the people react,” he added.

Kishor further said, “Half the population in the state is female and the language Tejashwi Yadav is using is related to the context he discussed regarding sex education. It is a part of sex education.”

Following Nitish Kumar’s remarks on Tuesday about the need of women’s education to control the population, which caused a stir among women’s groups and the opposition Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Kishor responded.

While highlighting the value of education for women in managing the population, Kumar on Tuesday in the state assembly provided a detailed account of how an educated woman can constrain her husband during sex.

However, Kumar apologised for the incident.

Defending Bihar CM, Yadav said, “There was nothing objectionable. These things are taught to children in schools as part of sex education.”
