BSP Leader Mayawati
On Wednesday, BSP Chief Mayawati told her party is planning to contest next year’s Lok Sabha Elections all alone in Uttar Pradesh as party did not gain any benefit from entering into alliance considering the past experiences.
During meeting with party leaders Mayawati slammed both NDA and INDIA Alliance and said that if BSP joins any alliance all the votes of the party is often transfered to another party and Bahujan Samaj Party gets nothing in return.
“The BSP had to bear more loss than gain by getting into alliances in UP as its votes clearly get transferred to the alliance partner but the other parties do not have the right intention or the capability to transfer their votes to our candidate,”
She further added, “So we have decided to go alone in the parliamentary polls next year.” She event encouraged party leaders to conduct meeting at ground levels at villages to so get support from more people. Earlier, BSP was in alliance with SP and Congress on both State and Lok Sabha Elections in UP.
“Both the blocs have done little for the welfare of the ‘Bahujan Samaj’ and they have mostly been busy in breaking and weakening the society by indulging in narrow politics…therefore it is better to maintain distance with them,” she said
Former CM Mayawati has made some changes in political organisation as it was the need of the hour keeping in mind the changing political scenario.
